The UpSells section allows you to recommend higher-value or complementary courses to learners who are already interested in a specific course. This feature is designed to encourage upgrades or add-on purchases, improving your overall sales and helping learners discover more advanced or related learning opportunities. By strategically associating courses, you can guide learners toward the next step in their learning journey.

Note:
Before setting up Upsells courses, ensure that each LearnDash course is properly linked to its corresponding WooCommerce product or Easy Digital Downloads (EDD) product. This association is required for Upsells to display correctly on the course page.

If your courses are not yet linked with products, please complete the Course Product Setup Guide before proceeding. (You can skip this step if you are using LearnDash’s built-in payment option instead of WooCommerce or EDD.)

For settings follow the below steps

1. Click on LearnDash LMS > Courses > click on any one course where you want to set the upsells.
2. In the course edit page you will find a metabox with name UpSells courses.
3. Click inside the metabox and select the list of courses you want to display as upsells with the current course.
4. There is no limit to the number of courses you can add. Once you have saved your course, you and your customers will be able to see suggested courses associated with the course.
5. In the course edit page, you can now also fill in the Course Description metabox to provide additional information such as skills covered, authors, and course details that will be displayed in the upsell widget for the currently editing course.

Give your customers added value by showcasing recommended Upsell courses alongside the one they’re currently viewing. This not only encourages learners to explore advanced or complementary courses but also helps guide them toward a more complete learning journey. Below is an example of how the Upsells section appears on the course page once configured.
